Three ways to work with us.

Most clients start with one room and add from there. At the first visit we will tell you honestly which of these three fits what you are trying to do.

Every room considered together: layout, lighting, joinery, finishes and furniture, delivered as one plan on one budget.

Single-room projects

One room done properly, whether that is a kitchen, a living room or a bedroom, with the same team and the same process in about six weeks.

Styling and finishing

For homes that are nearly there: furniture, textiles, art and the last ten per cent that makes a room feel finished rather than furnished.

How it works

Four stages, no surprises.

About six weeks for a single room, twelve to sixteen for a whole home. Here is what happens at each stage, and what we need from you.

Consultation

A 60 to 90 minute visit at your home. You leave with an honest read on what the space can do, what it will cost and whether it is worth doing at all.

Concept and costed plan

Two to three weeks later you see one scheme: layout, materials and a fully costed plan, built around how you actually live rather than a look we like.

Orders and trades

We place the orders, book the trades and hold the schedule. You get one point of contact and a weekly update, not a list of suppliers to chase.

Install and handover

Everything lands on the day we said. We install, style the room, fix the snags and take the packaging away with us.

You hire one team. We do the chasing.

Orders, deliveries, trades and snags are ours to manage. You approve the plan and the spend, then get a weekly update and a finished room at the end of it.

A single room, as long as the design work is part of it. We do not take on styling-only jobs where everything has already been bought. Send us photos and we will tell you straight whether you need us at all.

The design fees are set out on this page. Beyond that, a single room usually lands between $8,000 and $20,000 including furniture and any building work, and a whole home starts around $45,000. After the first visit you get a real number rather than a range.

Six weeks for a single room and twelve to sixteen for a whole home, from the first meeting to the finished room. Furniture lead times are the main variable, so we plan the schedule around them instead of pretending they do not exist.

Yes, and it often saves the project. We will tell you honestly which pieces are worth keeping and which are holding a room back. We would rather reupholster a good chair than sell you a new one.

For a single room, no. For a whole home, most clients stay through the design stages and move out for the two or three weeks of building work. We will tell you which yours is before you commit to anything.

We work within about an hour's drive of the studio. Further than that we would rather point you to someone local than take on a project we cannot get to when something needs fixing.
